We are moving our web application from ColdFusion to .NET. I have my private ColdFusion Server (Server A) and an Azure Server where we are developing in .net.
Initially we are creating some small .net application that connects to the Server A database. However, the first time that the connection is open in the Server A database from the Azure Application, it takes some time (10+ seconds). Is there a way to make this runs faster? I thought about keeping opening a connection in the Server A database from the Azure application, but I'm not sure if it is correct.
BTW, I set the Server A MySQL database to closes the connection when the time reaches 350 because after that the Azure Application returns an error that couldn't establish the connection.
